Pre-Purchase Building
and Pest
Inspections
This is the most
commonly purchased inspection report. It is used
when buying a house - usually between the time of
having your offer accepted and signing the contract
of sale - also known as the "Cooling Off Period".
This inspection is a combined Building and Pest Inspection which covers all physical defects.
Some providers try to charge separately for building and
pest inspections, we charge only one flat fee of $450 for
combined building and pest inspections.
Pre-Auction Inspections
All too
many times I've received a phone call from a distressed
buyer who has committed to a contract after buying at
auction - without getting inspections done prior to the
auction - unfortunately by that time it's too little too
late...
Get your inspections done prior to an auction
- less than $500 will mean that you will get peace of mind
that you are not buying a "knock-down" - I've seen it
happen... not pretty.
Building Completion Inspection / Building Defect

Used when
Buying/Building a New House
This
report is used to ensure that the builders of your
new home have fully completed the job before the
handover. It will list any defects or major
structural problems that may still exist at the
completion of building.
Do not hand over
another dollar to your builders until you get your
own independent inspections done.
